Vis Vires Trilogy, Book One
Lust. Anger. Hate. Desire. Love. Happiness. Joy. iFeel.
Liv Christianni is isolated, alone, tortured and withdrawn, saddled with the torrential downpour of the world’s emotions. Accepting of her providence Liv has lost all hope, until one day fate steps in and spins the course of her life like a spiraling top. Hunted by a Spirit Stalker, Liv is forced to gain control of herself and her surroundings, threatened by the touch of her immortal love; she must find a way to survive both physically and emotionally as her reality is shaken up like dice on a Craps table. Can she find the courage to accept her true self? Can she love unconditionally cognizant of the condemning consequences? Can she rise from the ashes to become the person she was always meant to be?
1. Tell us a little about yourself.
By day, I work for the U.S army doing logistics, by night I am mother of two, and wife to an amazing man. Somewhere in between I am a writer. My busy lifestyle definitely keeps me on my toes and allows inspiration to keep churning.
2. What made you want to become a writer?
I don’t think it was one specific thing that pushed me to write, I have always made up stories, whether I put them on paper or not, they were there. This particular idea of Liv had been with me for a while, and I just felt compelled to write about her. I still feel compelled, which is why her story went from one to three.
3. Who or what gives you inspiration?
You know that saying, the world is your oyster. Well it’s sort of like that with my inspiration, I could be listening to a song, or watching TV, or just hanging out with friends and I am overcome with ideas. It is constant.
4. Tell us about iFeel.
iFeel follows Liv, a very emotionally tormented girl, who has basically become a shut in. She feels the emotions of everyone around her, which in turn hinders her ability live. She is trapped, until one day fate steps in and puts her in the path of a sadistic Spirit Stalker and a demon-hunting angel. This starts Liv on an emotional and physical journey to explore her true self; it opens her up to the world and the one emotion that scares her the most. Love.
5. What’s the hardest part of being a writer?
For me? Time management. I wish I could dedicate all my time to writing, but my busy lifestyle deems that a challenge. Maybe one day.
6. What do you need around you to write (special drink, lucky items, etc)?
Actually, ear buds. I don’t even need to listen to music, just as long as I have the ear buds in, I’m focused. It’s really weird.
7. What are some of your favorite books?
Pride and Prejudice, The Twilight Saga, Vampire Academy series.
8. Are your characters based on anyone you know?
Not really, but I can say with certainty Justice is a combination of myself, my brother and my husband. He has my snarky mouth, my brother’s brooding mysterious side, and my husband’s wicked sense of humor.
9. What, if anything, are you working on right now?
The sequel to iFeel, Gravitational Pull. I’m hoping to release it around Christmas. I’m super excited about it. I can’t give too much away, but I can tell you there is a separation, some girl power, a new love interest, an old love interest, a puzzle and a warning; all wrapped up in humor, heart, action and heat.
10. Why do you love writing?
I think internally I’m a very intense, emotional person, opposed to my outside where I’m very reserved. Writing lets me be who I am. It allows me a healthy balance of expression for the paradox sides.
