January is NetGalley Month!

For the month of January, I plan to read as many books as I can from NetGalley.  For bloggers and reviewers, this is your paradise!  NetGalley is a site that matches up book reviewers with publishing houses who have books that need reviews–it’s a great system.  You get to read a free book, often before it is released to the public–and all it will cost you is a review!

Red House Books had declared January to be NetGalley month, and who am I to argue?  🙂  This is not a reading challenge, but more like a read-a-thon…your goal is to read as many books from NetGalley during January as you can!

I’ve already read and reviewed one NetGalley book.  My review will be posted Monday.

If you love reading and giving your opinions, I encourage you to join NetGalley!  They have books from almost every genre, so any reader is sure to find something they’d love to read.  If you are already a NetGalley member and want to join with other bloggers for NetGalley month, join here.  There is even a cute badge you can add to your blog 🙂

Happy reading!

  1. Yay for NetGalley!!!! 🙂

I haven’t read as many as I wanted to, yet, and the month is flying by!! There’s a two that I keep trying to press thru and keep setting aside. What do you do about books that don’t keep your attention?

    • I haven’t had that happen, yet…but I’m thinking I will just let the publisher know in my review that I could not finish the book, and the reasons why it didn’t work for me. 🙂 They want honest reviews, right?
