Stacking the Shelves: My First One Ever!

I don’t usually participate in the mailbox memes, but this week I decided to give it a shot and see how I like it.

Stacking the Shelves was recommended to me by a few other bloggers, so that’s what I’m going with today!

Stacking The Shelves is hosted by Tynga’s Reviews, and is all about sharing the books you are adding to your shelves, may it be physical or virtual. This means you can include books you buy in physical store or online, books you borrow from friends or the library, review books, gifts and of course ebooks!

Click on the cover of any book to go to its’ Goodreads page.

Awesome haul! I love all your swag and I am SO jealous of Alice in Zombieland! I requested that from Harlequin Teen but I don’t think they accepted my request. That, and the kind of, kind of don’t really like me for some reason. Well, that’s my opinion. But anyway, I hope you enjoy all your amazing books and congrats on the wins!

Check out my Stacking the Shelves!

  2. Wow what a great book week!! I am in awe of all the pretty covers! I hope you enjoy them all!

  3. Great haul.

Please make it your mission to read On The Island as soon as you can.

Just finished it myself and absolutely loved it.

    • Just checked out your review–now I’m even more excited! It’s not my usual genre, but I’ve heard so many great things I’m giving it a try 🙂

  7. Great books! Especially Alice in Zombieland, Mystic City, and The Assassin’s Curse!

But here’s a tip for you regarding The Assassin’s Curse:

DO NOT READ THE BLURB! If you already have, then I’d suggest waiting a few weeks before reading it and try to forget the blurb. The blurb actually contains SPOILERS about the book! 😦 How lame is that? I still enjoyed the book, but the blurb kind of ruined it for me. Rather than a teaser, it’s basically a summary of everything that happens in the entire book. Something at the end of the blurb isn’t even revealed until the last ~10-20 pages of the book 😦

    • OMG THANK YOU for warning me about that! That totally happened to me when i got an ARC of Belles by Jen Calonita–the big twist was right there on the back of the book!!!

  8. woah! How did you get alice in zombieland? I’m really looking forward to that one, and you got a whole bunch of other really awesome ones, enjoy!

    Here’s a link to mine!

  9. What a stunning haul! I hardly know where to start. I love the cover of Ghoulish Song and Fifty Shames of Earl Grey sounds like fun. I’m definitely keeping these books in mind. 🙂

  12. Alice in Zomebieland! I’m a HUGE Showalter fan, so that one is high up on my TBR. I’m on an ARC tour for it, and I absolutely cannot wait. 🙂 You got some awesome books this week, Carrie! Happy happy reading, and thanks for stopping by the blog!

  17. Yesterday, while I was at work, my sister stole my apple ipad and tested to see if it can survive
a 40 foot drop, just so she can be a youtube sensation. My apple ipad is now broken and she has 83 views.
I know this is entirely off topic but I had to share it with someone!

  18. Excellent blog you’ve got here.. It’s hard to find quality writing like yours nowadays.

I truly appreciate people like you! Take care!!

  19. Hi! I could have sworn I’ve been to this blog before but
after reading through some of the post I realized it’s new to
me. Anyhow, I’m definitely delighted I found it and I’ll be bookmarking and checking back frequently!

  20. What’s up, just wanted to mention, I liked this article.
It was practical. Keep on posting!

  21. Think about the rich and famous, the media, our rock stars,
and movie stars we watch on television. You
expect a pot of $250, which you multiply by the
probability of winning (. When you were new lovers, you talked and
    sex was easy.

Tell me what ya think :)
