Starting over sucks.
When we moved to West Virginia right before my senior year, I’d pretty much resigned myself to thick accents, dodgy internet access, and a whole lot of boring…. until I spotted my hot neighbor, with his looming height and eerie green eyes. Things were looking up.
And then he opened his mouth.
Daemon is infuriating. Arrogant. Stab-worthy. We do not get along. At all. But when a stranger attacks me and Daemon literally freezes time with a wave of his hand, well, something…unexpected happens.
The hot alien living next door marks me.
You heard me. Alien. Turns out Daemon and his sister have a galaxy of enemies wanting to steal their abilities, and Daemon’s touch has me lit up like the Vegas Strip. The only way I’m getting out of this alive is by sticking close to Daemon until my alien mojo fades.
If I don’t kill him first, that is.

Recently, I re-read an old trilogy called The Vampire’s Promise. The book I’m most looking forward to right now is Sarah Dessen’s The Moon and More.
I recently read Divergent and I LOVED it. I have been wanting to get my hands on Obsidian for a while, I feel like I’m the only person in the world that hasn’t read it.
‘Tis by Frank McCourt, author of Angela’s Ashes. It was incredible. He’s a consummate storyteller!
I just read Eleanor and Park and it’s my favorite YA book right now…SO AMAZING.

There are so many that I can’t wait to read this summer, it’s not even funny! Some include Unbreakable and Reached. I recently re-read the first two books in the Existence trilogy so I could read Ceaseless (which I did). I am now reading Scarlet 🙂
I’m currently reading Deity by Jennifer Armentrout. I’m loving it so far. I just read Altered by Jennifer Rush, it was an amazing.
I just got a copy of City of Bones, I can’t wait to start the mortal intruments series and I’m waiting for my copy of the goddess test too! I have a bunch of cool series I am getting into!! I recently read a house of night novel, hunted, which I loved. I am going to read the next book in the series soon too. Thanks!

Tell me what you’ve read and loved recently: I read “Masque of the Red Death and I absolutely LOVED IT!! I wasn’t sure if I would like it or even get into the book. So when I started reading it, I COULD NOT put it down!!! I can’t wait for book 2 to come out! I highly recommend this book!
What you can’t wait to read: One book that I am SO LOOKING forward to reading is “Gameboard of the Gods”!!! When I first seen it and read about it I was like, this is from Richelle Mead?? I HAVE TO read it!! I love all her books!!

I just finished Infected: Prey by Andrea Speed a couple days ago, and I’m still not over it! Absolutely amazing, and I can’t wait to get my hands on the next in the series. I’m also just getting into The Sweetest Dark by Shana Abe, and it’s great as usual. I just love her writing voice.
I cannot state a book of what I have read or love reading. There are too any to name. I like a lot of non-fiction books, historical books, suspense//mystery, YA children’s, and sci-fi. It depends on my moods what I pick up.
