Apparoo App of the Week–May 8

Hey yall! I’m here with the Apparoo App of the week for May 8.  Each week I’ll be sharing the “Apparoo App of the Week” with you.  These are often FREE or offered at a discount!

This week’s featured app is:

iStoryTime

Sometimes simple is best. No matter how many fancy toys your kid has, they always end up on your lap saying “Mama, tell me a story.” iStoryTime is like a central library for kids’ books, and they wisely left off extraneous features, letting the stories shine. It includes four free books and then you can buy more à la carte, or pay a monthly or annual fee, Netflix-style, for unlimited books. With new books released in the app every week, there is always fresh content to enjoy. Stories can be narrated or silent, allowing your child to read independently when they’re ready. As Leonardo said, “Simplicity is the ultimate sophistication.” (Da Vinci, not DiCaprio, people.)
–Large library of additional stories to choose from as in-app purchases, with new books being added every week.

–Professional narration, character audio, interactive and immersive story experiences.

–In-app purchases only available in the parent’s section. Kids can freely pick and choose from already purchased stories in their library, without being tempted by un-purchased books. We’re parents too and we’re tired of being harassed to make in-app purchases by our kids. Bye-Bye “can we get this pleeeezeee?!”

–The iStoryTime library app includes a wide selection of narrated children’s storybooks from your kids favorite films, TV shows and classic stories. All of the stories feature professional narration and vivid images. From reliving the adventures of your favorite Zoosters in Madagascar to following the magical little creatures in The Smurfs, woolly mammoths in Ice Age or Robin Hood in one of the great classics – the iStoryTime library app is perfect for learning to read, summer road trips, bedtime stories and more!
