REVIEW: 3 Kids Academy Learning Apps #MomBuzz #FreeKidsApps
Hey yall! Today I’d like to share my reviews of 3 iOS apps from Kids Academy. The best part is, they are all FREE to download right now!
My 6 year old has a short attention span (don’t they all?) and we’re always looking for new apps to both capture his attention and offer a learning experience. As a mom, I loved this app because it uses Montessori tools too help him learn–which is perfect because he is now attending a Montessori Kindergarten at a competitive private school. He really liked the Alphabet Tracing! I can see him playing this and learning more in conjunction with what he is being taught in Kindergarten.
I downloaded this app for my kindergarten student, and he seemed to like the games but before long he had played through everything easily. The app is listed as being for both pre-k and kindergarten levels, but I think kids who know their ABC’s and have started to write a bit will not be challenged by it. This app wasn’t quite right for us but I believe the Montessori methods used would be great for 3 to 4 year olds.
This is quite a simple app, but nonetheless it entertained my child. Without a doubt, his favorite part was recording himself (and me) singing the song and then hearing the playback. He experimented with using different silly voices and had me and his dad cracking up. This is a fun app that kids of all ages should love.
