It’s Never too Late for a Getaway

If for any reason you haven’t been able to take your family on a beach vacation this summer, it’s still not too late!  Even though Labor Day is upon us, it doesn’t mean vacation fun has to end! As a matter of fact, September and the upcoming months are a great time to take advantage of off season deals and get amazing rates at places like the Sandpiper Beacon Beach Resort.

Northwest Florida is easier to get to than ever with the opening of the Panama City Beach Airport in 2010.  Formally called the Northwest Florida Beaches International Airport, it is the first airport to open on US soil since the terrorist attacks of September 11, 2001.  That’s how much Florida beach tourism is growing in popularity!  Many people aren’t aware that an airport exists right near their preferred vacation destination, but this one is only miles from so many resorts–with the closest being Sandpiper Beacon.  You can have your toes in the sand less than 30 minutes after stepping off your flight!

Not only is the Sandpiper Beacon the closest resort to the airport, it’s also one of the premier destinations for Florida family fun.  Even if you love the beach, there are so many extra amenities that you and your kids will enjoy, that you may never have to leave the resort!  There are numerous waterslides, a lazy river, a playground, an arcade, and much much more.  Indoor pools mean you can swim even when it’s a little too chilly to be in the ocean. Couple this with luxurious rooms and free wi-fi, and everyone from mom and dad to baby will be satisfied.

With chances such as your kids’ Fall and Holiday Breaks coming up, why not check out the rates at Northwest Florida Beaches International Airport and see how affordable it is to take your family on a fabulous vacation they will never forget?
