GIVEAWAY: Who Inspires You?
As we go through life, we are almost certain to meet those people who will come to take special positions in our hearts. They may be close family members, people in your community, coworkers, or strangers who become friends. It’s a fact that you can find inspiration in places where you least expect it.
So, who inspires me?
MY MOM
That’s my mom at the far left with all of her girls. Though she had us at a young age, she always worked hard to provide for us and made sure we were taken care of before herself. As I’ve grown and had my own children, I can now appreciate what she must have gone through and the sacrifices she made raising us. We are all extremely close to her and rely on her every day.
MY HUSBAND
From the moment I met this man over 11 years ago, I knew he would be the one. My husband was diagnosed with scoliosis at age 7 and has endured several painful back surgeries. Though he still has trouble from time to time, he never lets anything stop him and never sees himself as having a disability. He is such an amazing father and thoughtful husband and I’m proud to say next year will be our tenth anniversary.
MY BOYS
I always knew that I wanted to be a “boy mom” and God blessed me with two fantastic ones. My big boy is nearly 8 and is so passionate about so many things, not the least of all being his 6 month old baby brother. I love seeing the world through their eyes and getting a sense of wonder and imagination every day.

Sweet Southern Home 
My grandma Alice inspires me. She lived through poverty and recession. She started her education in grade 6 and was the only one of her 5 siblings to have an education. She taught herself how to read and write at 12. She married young and only ever loved one man. When he died she was in her early 60’s. Now she is 90 and has never dated or even thought about seeing another man. That’s true love. She is a kind hearted person who would give you the shirt off her back. This is why she inspired me.
My mother! And j m ow her inspiration would be her own mother.
My mom never stops. She never stops loving, working, helping. She is always there when we need her. No matter the day, time, or circumstance. She is amazing. I can be a better mother because of my mom.
The ones that inspire me the the most would be my mothers. I grew up knowing I was adopted & I recently found my birth mother. I’m inspired by my biological mother because at the age of 17, she had so much love for me, was selfless and chose life for me! And my momma, at 32, took me into her family as her own and has given me so much love! She has never treated me like I didn’t belong! I was always her little girl & I still am at 37 yrs. old. I can only hope that I inspire my kids the way they have inspired me!
My mom inspires me because she came to this country without an education and without speaking English but managed to learn the language, work full time, and earn her Bachelor’s Degree while raising my brother and I.

My brother inspires me because he is mentally delayed and has not had an easy road in life but tries hard everyday to overcome the card he has been dealt in life. He lives in a special home but I see him multiple times a week either taking him on day trips or spending time with him at the facility. I love him as he is.
My mother is my inspiration. She inspires me to be kind, generous and responsible. She spends most of her time volunteering in hospital and community center after she retires from teaching job.
My husband inspires me because he works so hard to support our family
My parents inspire me!
My husband makes a difference in my life because of his genuine personality and the way he gives from the heart.
My brother is a big inspiration to me. He is on the autism spectrum, but despite that he has strong talents in music and technology. He has taught me that everyone has various strengths, and the differences in people are what make the world a more interesting place.
