I am an ex-biologist with an eccentric imagination and two loving Italian Greyhounds.
I always wanted to be a writer but it didn’t become a goal until I read Young Goodman Brown by Nathaniel Hawthorne in high school. The story was so vivid and interesting that I knew I wanted to create something that beautiful.
I love using magazines. Pictures and images spark my imagination or create a thread of thought.
Dreamwalker is a story about a girl whose life becomes very complicated. She gets dumped then starts to dream of the man of her dreams. Her life gets turned upside down when he becomes all too real. She is shoved into a world where dreams meet reality. Then she meets Boone and he is the man of her here and now. She has one life but two loves she must choose between amidst a very dangerous world. It’s all very intriguing up until the very end.
Editing, editing, editing….
I always write with a White Barn candle burning and my IPod playing. I am big on ambiance. I also like to write in bed with my dogs snuggled up at my feet:)
I love too many. Rachel Vincent, Kim Harrison, Shelly Crane, Quinn Loftis, Kelly Armstrong, Chloe Neill, Molly Harper and Sophie Kinsella are some of my favorite authors.
No, all of them are completely made up. I wish Boone and Jared were real, right?
I am finishing my creepy YA paranormal romance Dancing with Death. It is scheduled to be released in August.
I love writing because I can let my vivid imagination run wild. I live in my imagination most of the time, it is a fun place to be:)
